How to Write a BBB Image to an SD Card

Steps:

1. Download the latest image. The page contains several versions of the image. Please choose one with the following characteristics: 4GB, “Flasher”, IoT (without graphical desktop), BealgeBone.

2. Decompress the .img file from the .xz file (Unarchiver or 7Zip ).

3. Burn the .img file to a 4GB micro SD card (Etcher).
